The game is just a little bit blurry, but I like the game it has a mixture of P.T and Layers of fear.
I would like to point out that if you're not fast enough at the end, the enemy AI will just stay at the front of the door, leaving you unable to complete the game. So you'll have to let the enemy catch you in order to restart to checkpoint and then run fast after you got the key and head to the door immediately to unlock it and finish the game.
here is my video of it.
We play a few games from itch, including this one. Check it out yo!
I really want to play this, but it is so dark I find it impossible. Is there a flashlight or something that I'm missing? I've tried changing mym laptop's brightness and even playing with no ambient light at all, and it's still too hard for me to see anything.
So a few things:
a) I'm a dumbass for not finding the flashlight. I started this game at least three times and somehow overlooked it every time.
b) Mazes in first person games suck
c) I couldn't tell if the "ending" was that you couldn't acutally escape the error/virus. I tried everything and after about 10 deaths just gave up.
d) While the game wears its PT and Layers of Fear inspirations on its sleeve, it's still very fun and scary. Extremely good at building tension and not over-reliant on cheap jump scares. A perfect example of something being influencing without the end result feeling like a straight copy-paste. PT has evolved from a source of copycats to creating a genuine style/genre, and Error#54 is a perfect example of taking that inspiration in a new direction.
Thanks for pointing out I was being stupid. I'm really happy I got to play this.
This was pretty scary, great concept, I'm not sure about the ending though, seemed like I was stuck in a loop.
I really had fun with this one! Great job!
Thank you for the game! I had a blast!
Very cool game. Freaky monster & some decent lore to find throughout the world.
The game is great the best horror I've played in days. Good job
rip I can't even download it properly, it downloads as a 7zip and tells me it cant be started because unityplayer.dll was not found or something
Diving deep into the horror of losing the internet after a mass virus broke down the infrastructure of the internet around the world. In an indie horror game with a PT style loop. So let's see what will happen on that day when we lost the internet.
Awesome, I really enjoy this game. I want more!
Great game! I'd love to see more down the road! I did a walkthrough. Enjoy.
Played the game and it's a solid one. I highly recommend this game, just FYI to the developer you have some skill. Keep it up:
Played this game for a random horror let's play on my channel, and i gotta say. I was rather surprised with the game. It was better than i expected it to be. Graphics were nice, gameplay was easy and the game was pretty fun to play. While it was very short, it was a neat little experience. I talk more in-depth about the game in my video, near the end. If you're interested, you can watch it here. Overall, Cool little game! Give it a 7/10
This is a great horror game Definetly check this game out! Lots of scares to be had!
This game was so good! Normally I don't play horror games but I am so glad that I played this one! It really got me scared and nervous! Good job!
Played this as part of Halloween 2018 on my channel, a great wee game with good scares. One of the best horror games I've played yet.

As someone who never got to actually play PT, thanks for making this.
Now this is what I call horror, great atmosphere and plays with expectations in all the right ways.
Nice and very atmospheric little horror game! I do wish that there was a little bit more to the story, and how it fits into the game (because I actually think it was really interesting) :)
I made a Let's Play video of Error #54 that you can watch below - hope you'll all enjoy it!
Nice work on the PT style game. The build up was really good though I think I screwed up at the end DX
WOW i'm speechless great work on this PT style of game i'm amazed that you only created this! Great job.
When in options i clicked full screen the game stoped working and when i tried to open it again that happen (and i did downloaded again but same thing) :(
Hi. unfortunately I can not help you , because the support of the game is over. I can advise to update the graphics driver or not play on fullscreen mode (very interesting, all fullscreen games always worked...) P.S sorry for bad english))))
hi Akhilya, would you be interested in selling the web version of the game, as unity webgl?
That's possible, could you elaborate?
Sure, thanks for the prompt reply.
I'm interested in buying the web version, as unity weblg, or html5, so we can publish the web version on our website, y8.com website. If that is doable, we can discuss about price and terms, ideally in private.
Nuh your english is fine mine is bad in some parts and i would play it if it would let me (withoutthefull scren)but it doesent let me enter
Made a youtube video. Best horror i have played in a while. I got jumpscared from a chair lmfao
This was super creepy and fun! Great horror game!
I loved it. It's quite like Silent Hills. THere was a bad glitch tho. When I went back to my game the next day my flashlight wouldn't work anymore.
Here's my video of Error #54! Hopefully you'll enjoy this PT styled game as much as i did!
Alrighty, I'm creating this review knowing that Error#54 was created by one guy in two months. Kudos to you for creating this experience in that limited amount of time, by the way!
This game had an initial good start with its atmosphere, but it gradually became grading overtime because of two reasons: it was the same looping atmosphere that broke the loop at one point in my playthrough, and it was way too LOUD, especially that damned radio. The story that I discovered as a played through it sounded interesting enough, but the game itself didn't perform any of what a haunted file would typically do in this genre until the very end of the game, which was disappointing to say the least. The monster reminded me too much of generic mental patients that I found in other indie horror games. Creating a model unique to the experience would've really driven home the corrupted file factor a decent amount. I will admit, the maze sequence had me on edge for a bit. However, once I discovered there was no potential threat in the first or second half, that was a let-down. The AI navigation was debatable, and I did actually walk through the door that would've had the threat trying to break in at the end with no punishment. Therefore, when I returned from wandering the maze, I saw that the AI became hilariously stuck and would seemingly guard the door to the next area after automatically unlocking the previous door.
Overall, it was okay, with a lot of understandable technical flaws since the game was made by a single individual for two months. However, I wish the experience was less disappointing for those who were looking for a meta experience, such as myself. You can watch my video here to see my constructive criticism in action. Thank you for reading, and I hope you're having a great day!
This game was scary! The first time I actually was scared playing a game.
I recommend .
I loved this game! It was extremely scary! Check out my video lol.
